  Look i was just ranting on a bit, a bit shocked that wgt did not look a bit closer at what they were doing/removing/replacing.

  What makes you think that WGT hasnt thought it through ? Just because they arent doing it the way you feel it should be done , doesnt mean its being done wrong . As usual we the players were the last ones to know what was going on but thats no big deal . We are never included in the decisions being made or the meetings and discussions about the products and items in the pro shop .

  Although this is a business WGT has to also work with the companies that allow them to use their brands in this game . They have to comply with the decisions made outside of their control . So they knew and they let us know when they were sure about what was going to be done .

  For those who want to complain about not being able to get certain clubs . Thats just the way it is . The lesson to be learned is very simple . In the future if you plan on a club upgrade , then play until you can get that club . I have never missed out on having a club that I wanted to have . All because I planned out my club upgrades and put in the play time to get them .

  OK, so what's the benefit to the company, let's just say, Callaway, putting a ceiling on what clubs WGT can program into the game.

  Perhaps the answer is for wgt to quit worrying about difficult and expensive contracts with golf club companies and let us design our own clubs. Let us put in the specs we want. Something that is a natural in a virtual game and can only be done in a virtual game and is an opportunity for a virtual game to actually give its players what they want.

  They added a 287yd driver to lvl 94 which is great..  This used to be at lvl96..  Now if they drop the same Irons at lvl 96 to 94,  that would fill the huge gap between lvl93 and 96.

  Exactly, you have to plan ahead.

  All the new clubs are going to come out with the same specs as the ones they removed, most likely.

  Most, probably already have those clubs in their bag just a different name. No Biggie

  The benefit is that they Callaway are getting paid . WGT cant use their brand name or likeness with out the brands approval .In return for that use the brands receive monetary compensation . So the decisions are joint but the brands decide which of the items they are going to allow to be represented here in the game .

  Its the same for the golf courses . WGT just cant go out and shoot a course to add to the game without the approval of the course managers and owners .All items in the game are here under licenses and contract agreements with the brands being used .
