Minimum ranked rounds to tier up

  can anyone please explain how someone can have become a tour master when they only have 68 ranked rounds in total. . ? I have read many postings about the requirements to tier up , and it doesn’t seem that 68 rr is sufficient ?

  If they have been playing mobile and have been winning matches against TM's or higher in the coin rooms, I think they can be advanced up to L just by the virtue of winning.

  Thanks for that , it seems to make sense , I think that is what he is doing , he said he only plays coin games.

  If you play MP n win against higher tier, you need Zero RR's to Tier up  !! :) Easy Peasy !!

  Also Could be a player that signed up through Facebook and at his request WGT moved his account to WGT.com. The player has to create a new player name but their equipment and tier stays the same but all their other stats restart, They could already be a TM when WGT moved them to WGT.com but all their other stats start from 0. Ask either Young46 or Walk0flife about it, I'm sure there are others who did this but those are the 2 that I know for sure did it.

  This is the most likely way. Mobile players that only play in the coin rooms can become very good and need to and deserve to be moved up. There are players that have been moved up all the way to Tour Champion.  One player that comes to mind has only 12 ranked rounds and is at the TC tier, and rightly so as he's one of the best mobile players out there.

  I recently met a Tour Legend at level 102 with 0 ranked rounds. So you can either move up by winning a lot of coin games or playing ranked rounds with low average.

  Would be interesting to see that player, because, AFAIK, the "mobile move" by player level only works until Tour Master or Legend.
