I got on here and finally decided to spend some money.  I bought the V2 Rapture Set (for the forgiveness).  My game definitely improved somewhat, but not a great deal.  So after a few games, I went and bought the Ping Pro G10 set.  I actually like the faster meter.  I find I'm hitting the bell much more often.  Has anyone else had this experience?

I also prefer the faster swing meter.   I get a bit impatient with the slower meter and end up pulling alot of shots.

i'm with all you guys on this  one. i get a bit of an itchy trigger finger when playing with a slow meter.

also a tip for anyone who wants to adapt quicker to the fast meter (using GI-D balls)..

play a practice round with the starter balls and try and play with the super fast meter. then when you go back to the GI-D balls the meter seems a lot slower

    it worked for me anyway..

I find it odd that the meter changes every time I change equipment.I'm getting used to it...but very slowly...I upgraded my driver and it made the meter faster...I do like the faster meter though...But now  the rest fo my clubs have a different meter speed...It does,in fact, keep the game interesting...I found out that most people see the newcomer questions are self explainatory asI assume this one is too but I will ask it anyway...If I buy a complete set of clubs will the meter be the same for every club in the bag?..excluding the putter...I don't even want to get into the putting aspect of this game..Racker..fracking..nickerstacking..dirty rotten low down putting lacker...............~#*%#.......$%^*&*&^#...............*#$@#$***..........................................

I do like the faster meter. I got so used to it that I get a itchy finger on a slower meter with my other clubs. The faster meter is good, at first I was hating the faster meter because it kept glitching up on me until Mircofait told me about gamebooster, I downloaded it and had smooth sailng ever since.

    GITrDONE:

...If I buy a complete set of clubs will the meter be the same for every club in the bag?..excluding the putter.

    The answer....that depends.

If you buy the Rapture set, the driver, 3w, hybrid and irons do but there are no rapture wedges so those have a faster swing meter.

That is why I threw my rapture irons away, too much difference in the meters between clubs.

I've a quick trigger finger even with the fastest meters.  Slow meters are all but unplayable for me.

I'll check out gamebooster - unless I play right after a reboot, my meter's a bit choppy.

I seem to hit the bell about the same amount of times, but I'm never more than one or two pixels off, I like fast meter better.

Thank you for the gamebooster tip.  My swing meter's performance still isn't perfect, but it's better with booster than it was without it.
