  Then how would you explain the fact that some players use a 10 years old Dell laptop Mod,Specs and have no problems and other players can operate an aircraft with their specs and have problems?

  The FACT?....HOW DO YOU KNOW IT"S FACT????/

  A 10yr old dell ain't gonna play this "with no problems".  The computer that with launch a rocket probably has so much crap running in the background that the rocket won't make it off the launchpad.

  I've offered to YOU, Dianne and several others my services free of charge with no takers.  If you want to think it can't be done, then that's on you.  There are plenty of people on here that have "NO PROBLEMS'  with the game or how it plays...maybe that should tell you something.

  I haven't had a single meter issue in 5-6 WEEKS!! Comeon people, issues like you are describing is, like it or not, mostly an issue on your end!

  I understand that the "errors" are the problem...you're in Italy.  Try typing "tracert wgt.com" in a command line(without quotes) and see how many hops you have to the server(it's only gonna cover 30 hops).  Any one of those hops could be having problems.  If one of those hops has a problem, then you're gonna get an error or you're gonna get load time problems...ect.  There is also a quality of line test that you can take.  There are plenty of houses that have poor line quality.

  It's just like a car stereo.  You could have a $5,000.00 stereo in your car, but if it's hooked up to $10.00 speakers, you're gonna have $10.00 sound. 

   

  thnx m8, you obviously know more about computers than i do, lol, but its weird because in 2 years or so of playing wgt, i have never got something like this, i will try a few tests.

  I just got rid of a 8 year old HP that I had been running WGT on for 2 years with no real problems.  I upgraded to a new HP with much more memory, faster processor, etc. and I see no real difference in the game play other than a little faster load time.

  I'm not defending WGT but there are a number of variables including your ISP that probably have more to do with the issues than does WGT.  The error message that you speak about I see about 2 times a week generally at the end of the game, rarely during a game.

  I'll defend WGT...I'm in Mississippi...What the hell is lower than Mississippi, right?  I have no connection problems, I have no meter problems, I have no wind or putt distance problems.  Looks like Mississippi is ahead of the rest of the world as far as WGT is concerned...My 50yrd wedge doesn't go 125yrs....My driver is consistent.  It MUST BE SOMETHING ELSE....MAYBE IT"S YOU PEOPLE.....JUST MAYBE>

  Let me tell you about facts

  Fact 1,Dell inspiron,10 years old plays this smooth,

  Fact 2 the same dell had no grahpic driver,just normal vga compatable

  Fact 3 it has no sound driver

  Fact 4 the meter is smoother than my quad core proc,4gig of ram and 4750 ati grahics,

  These are facts,Also my system is fully clean, i have 3 dual boots and they are extremely quick ,I have 1 dual boot XP just for this game,i only have 25 proc,working in background,FACTS,

  Yes and there are plenty that do have problems and have optimized their systems so dont be so patronizing,Ask Jake how his meter is after a new hard disk and operating system
