with so many people losing money over these skins games and wgt seemingly happy to let it continue, some of us are preparing a class action suit against wgt both here in UK and in US. If you are interested in trying to recover some compensation for your losses you need to let me know. First make a record over the next few weeks of times of games, how much you lose etc. so we can gauge the approx levels of money being lost to wgt. Once we have an idea of this we can proceed from this point.

    HonestKev:
    how much you lose

Instead of a class action , what I think is over the top. There is a faster way to get your credits back (the next day)

Send WGT an email explain to them what happen to the game why the game crashed what led up to the error , the players involved in the game. I have had to do it on 4 different times & all 4 times got full amount of credits back with in a few hours.

Seems so easy just sending an email members@worldgolftour.com  or by sending a private msg to ICON

Silliest thing I've ever heard. Just e-mail them and they'll sort it.

    How about this one....

WGT mistakenly ran a 2000c Ready-go 2 weeks before it was supposed to, a few players entered, myself included, and the tournament was closed. Now we're our 2000 credits with no refund as of yet.

So many people want to sue over the stupidest things. ITS A BETA GAME! If you know there is a problem and you keep losing credits, then you are not to bright in the first place. I have lost credits with the error messages in mpc. I let the first one go. I had the same thing happen and made a screen shot of the error message I got and I sent it to wgt. Within 2 days I got a response that they credited my account with the credits I lost and they also gave me 3 sleeves of balls for my inconvenience.

This is one good way to lose the very best game there is on line. They work hard to put out a top notch game. And for their protection against class action law suits, is why they are still in Beta! If you read the small print, you will see they have that covered. Being in Beta it states that you the member assumes all responsibility once you agree to the terms.

    http://www.wgt.com/terms.aspx

All Beta Tests (Private And Public):

    (1) As a beta tester, you are invited to play beta games for the sole purpose of evaluating the games and identifying errors. Nothing in these Terms, or on the Site, shall be construed as granting you any rights or privileges of any kind with respect to the beta games or content that you find here. The beta games are provided for testing on an "as is" "as available" basis and we make no warranty to you of any kind, express or implied.

    (2) When playing some beta games, you may accumulate rankings, equipment, or other value or status indicators. This data may be reset at any time during the testing process, and it may be reset when the particular game completes this testing phase. In this case, all player history and data will be erased and each player will return to beginner status.

    (3) By starting a beta game, you agree that: (i) playing beta games is at your own risk and that you know that the games may include known or unknown bugs, (ii) any value or status indicators that you achieve through game play may be erased at any time, (iii) WGT has no obligation to make these games available, (iv) WGT's Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the games during the testing phase, and (v) if it is a private beta test, you will keep all information about the beta games confidential as stated above and not disclose such information to any other person.

    (4) Beta Test accounts are non-transferable under any circumstances.

OK looks like we'd best forget it then and just keep losing credits to wgt, I'm sure wgt realise that all this money they are making is not rightfully theirs and are probably giving it to a charity somewhere.
