Focus boost

  can anyone tell me what a focus boost is please , I can’t even find it in the pro shop . I am a mobile player , and just played someone who appears to be buying about 10 or more each day ! Thanks Lesley

  When you are playing it's on top of the ding line.  It really isn't worth getting though.

  Thanks , but what does it do , what is the aim of such a thing. I just played a lvl36 pro Supposedly! , in fanduel coin room , and he buys ten or more of these things a day. I have never even heard of a focus boost , and I have been playing since 2015 !

  Its not in the pro shop, its on your swing line above the ‘ding'

  On your mobile device, go to your settings and check it’s turned on, it’s next to your shot and putt pals.

  And I dont even play mobile…...

  It slows the meter, allowing the player to be able to ding the shot more easily. 
  
  When it was introduced, the irony of WGT offering the feature was noted by more than one individual. 

  By the way, it was introduced in May 2015.

  Guess I missed the impotrant bit, saying it slows the meter.

  I suppose the second part (allowing.........) is likely but I wonder if using it for the occasional shot would be more likely to ruin the timing of dings, on that shot and other shots with the normal meter afterwards.

  I've often thought the same thing. When it first came out, I tried it one time. It didn't work for me. I even sent WGT an email about it, and they refunded my credits.
  
  I haven't tried it since. In fact, I even have it turned off so it doesn't even display. Personally, I don't think it's worth it.

  The reason you can't find it in the Pro Shop is that it's an in-game purchase. As DodgyPutter noted, "When you are playing it's on top of the ding line."
