  Everyone is on approval for 2 reasons:

  1. they are new and I wait to see whether they are here just to troll/spam

  2. to prevent mass spam from bots and other entities

  freedom of speech has nothing to do with this and does not apply to private web forum.

  That's fair.  How long are new people on approval for?  I've been here almost a month and made several posts during that time, and I'm still in approval.

  I'm definitely not a spammer or bot ;)

  it varies. sometimes folks start with posting put downs and insults, I delete them as to give them a hint :).

  I entered my date of birth incorrectly and now i am not eligible for tournaments. Is there a way to correct this and if so how.
