In the last 2 weeks  i have been having many issues being booted from games,

1 game i was playing on wgtls booted me 3 times " lucky'" i was playing good guys and they let me continue the game as we were 2 up in a guild game.

Every time this happened i got a " WGT ERROR or was SIGNED OUT completely from the game.

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THIS PROBLEM AS IT IS STARTING TO BECOME VERY ANNOYING.

    Thx : Pete

    Hi

it could be many different things. I ask you to try the folliowing )

    1. please try playing in different browsers, such as IE, or firefox or chrome.

    2. if that does not work please try clearing cookies./temp files for flash/browsers via this way:

    • Clear Browser cache: Click here for instructions.
    • Clear Adobe Flash cache: Click here , and click the "Delete all sites" button in the Settings Manager.

    3. if that does not work, please try reinstalling flash for each browser and then trying.

Hi Icon, I am experiencing something similar. I am going along nicely playing in a multi player game and having no issues (my game usually loads faster than the rest of the group) and then out of the blue, on different courses and in different places, I get an asset load error and I get stuck.

I have cleared everything; browser and macromedia cache etc. I have even re-installed flash and got the new version now, to no avail.

Went to speedtest.net and still get a regular 13.5Mbps download with a 53ms ping.

    What gives?

I have never experienced this in the past and I did wonder if this was an isolated case (me having issues) or whether others are having this happen to them all of a sudden also, and what can be done.

    Cheers

    hi

asset errors means 2 things in general

    1. bad path between wgt servers and you (speedtest is 1 thing but not exact for this)

    2. some issue on your end like HD needs defragging or cookies cleaned or temp files erased.

    3. something else but I am not sure what though.

Thanks Icon, appreciate that. Great minds think alike because I had seen to all of the above before posting for a better idea. Without listing all the specs of my 3 month old pc, I think I have a pretty good machine here and I care for it regularly because I do some pretty resource intensive gaming online at times - not always. I do defrag daily, weekly and monthly using mydefrag and have no other issues in other tasks I ask from my pc.

Like I said, I have never encounter major problems playing WGT in the past and this baffles me. I think it'll go away eventually, like most things that sporadically happen when playing this game, without me changing anything on my side.

I am thinking in it's internet between servers and your pc.

Not trying to be difficult, but I keep getting load errors.

Did a comprehensive line check, here is the result:

Everything else I do online is peachy...

Sanco-have you checked to make sure WGT is allowed 100kb of Flash storage?

Hi Jim, yes that too. In fact I ususally change it to 1mb, although it isn't needed I know.

Someone has told me, during a game where I got frozen, to untick the loop in flash. I didn't try that yet, but I guess I have always had it ticked before and never had issues, so why change it?

What confuses me the most is the fact that I have the same setup, same pc, same everything really and I haven't installed anything new on this pc and things have changed. So much so that I have hardly been able to finish a multi player game and really not enjoying the experience at present.

This happens on solo games as well BTW.
