  I don’t understand why people hate it so much. There is so much useful information with it on. Just hit the x to turn it off to line up your shot then when you hit shot it comes back so you can see the shot stats for that shot. You can see such things like the rollout on a green so you can plan your shots accordingly.

  Exactly.  It is the only real way to check carry and spin on a shot.

  I like to have the Shot Data on as well, but it is in an annoying place on the screen. Would be nice if they could relocate it to another part of the screen where it wouldn't cover anything up. I noticed about half the time it's a yard off from the other distance displayed after you hit the shot.

  Yes if we could drag it to another location, it would be great. Not going to happen though

  If you leave the "Tee Shot Data" option on, you can close the shot tracer (X) after each shot if it is in the way.  It will pop back up after the next shot not a putt.
