Maybe, just maybe you could tell something about your specs / rig  / connection type, etc ...?

It doesn't sound like his equipment if he can get through 8 holes before the connection goes haywire. It sounds like typical Friday night traffic problems. Every weekend, without fail starting Friday nights, the disconnect rates skyrocket. I doubt it's something WGT can do anything about if it's internet traffic that's causing it. It sounds more like the ISP's problem.

I see it mostly in matches that mix players from Europe with North Americans.

However, suffice to say, i never quit..but it must have looked to many than it is what i was doing...if any of you played me last night i can not apologse enough..im adicted to the game for real and on WGT and love the fun of playing peeps frm all over. Yesterday was a total nightmare...i do not even know if it was just me losing connection  or the whole four ball....thx for your replies..

I had the same problem a few months back.Every Friday night (as Jim says) was a nightmare with the disconnection and loading problems.

I rang my phone company, explained the problems I was having, they said It was probably my modem that was old and worn out. They sent a new Ethernet modem free of any charge, and since then I have had almost zero problems.

A new modem may be the answer. I hope this helps.
