I have 220 ranked rounds as a Tour Legend with an average of 58.92. I thought you needed 200 rounds with a 59 avg. What's up?

It has gone up to 500 rounds now.

    • When you have played at least 5 ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 100.00 you go from Hack to Amateur.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 10 ranked rounds as Amateur - and your average score is equal to or lower than 80.00 you go from Amateur to Pro.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 20 ranked rounds as Pro - and your average score is equal to or lower than 72.00 you go from Pro to Tour Pro.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 25 ranked rounds as TP - and your average score is equal to or lower than 67.00 you go from Tour Pro to Master. Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 40 ranked rounds as Master - and your average score is equal to or lower than 63.00 you go from Master to Tour Master.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 50 ranked rounds as TM - and your average score is equal to or lower than 61.00 you go from Tour Master to Legend.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 500 ranked rounds as Legend - and your average score is equal to or lower than 60.00 you go from Legend to Tour Legend.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 500 ranked rounds as TL - and your average score is equal to or lower than 59.00 you go from Tour Legend to Champion.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played at least 200 ranked rounds as Champion - and your average score is equal to or lower than 55.00 you go from Champion to Tour Champion.  Average re-sets.
    • When you have played 200 ranked rounds as TC, you saturate at Tour Champion, meaning your average will not go up, even with a bad round.

Posts I've read from those who have tiered up under the new requirements state it's 750 rounds and not 500.

Wow.  My TL’s will not be happy to hear that.

It was definitely 750 rounds for me. Now I was saturated prior to the changes so I had around 250 ranked rounds before the changes. Now on the other hand if WGT just put all existing Tour Legends back to 0 ranked rounds with the changes instead of just adding 500 additional ranked round requirements that would make it 500 rounds if you were promoted to Tour Legend after the changes. But from what I have heard and seen I think WGT simply just made 750 the number. But what gets me is why worry about it? Sit back and enjoy the ride. I notice a lot of the people who always bring this subject up in the forums love to play a bunch of Red Tee tournaments. I'll play an average buster every now and then but almost all of my ranked rounds are from the correct tees.
