The TS3 is stamped 9.5° where the shaft and head come together. But I would guess that as WGT label it as a 9° driver, that's the figure they would use in their programming.

Thanks. I agree with your assessment, as it sure has the flight of a 9 degree to my eye.

Can't agree with you there. My Bertha Alpha is a 9 degree loft, and the TS3 launches it higher and harder

Strangely though, with a 75%-90% bs drive the TS3 performs roughly the same as as the Bertha Alpha driving within the same same percentage range.

Using full top spin the TS3 carries 10 yrds further than the Bertha Alpha.

I'm liking the performance the TS3, but would much prefer it available with a 3.5 meter speed, just as I'd like the Rogue fairway wood's meter speed to be 3.5.

For me meter speed conformity across all clubs apart from the flat stick is important.

With the L102 TS3 at 291 yds and the L99 M5  at 289 . My question is where will the new L100+ driver fit in at ? Since the L100+ at 287 yds. was moved down to L96+ is there going to be a replacement come the next update ? Guess we will just have to wait and see . Before I buy the L102+ driver I want to wait and see whats around the corner and hope WGT makes it very interesting .

Agree totally, if the 291 driver was 3.5 meter, wuda bought it. More important than distance (which might be 10 yards or so more), consistency tends to win. I could care less most times if I have to hit 10 yards more, however I am guessing the R1- 287 yd (8 degree) driver can't typically be beat by much into the wind.

That's fine. I took the TM R1 9 deg out and hit alternate shots with that and the TS3 from the same tee. They both had the same apex height according to the tee shot data display.

I use the TM R1 with my " cheap " TM level 48 balls, i think i avg 305 yards, so as much as the new kid on the block sounds good, as far as i see it, this is just it's replacement, plus extra coppers in the wgt bank.

Obviously it's been knocked down to the D1 setting ;-)
