What do you think it would change if you had one? That's what I don't get. You get closer by 1/2 a club and then what? The shots you already knew all change? Not getting it myself but good to see there's players feeding WGT.  :-)

I have been averaging about 312 since yesterday with the new Driver. With an 14 MPH wind in my face it still gets 290

That's fine. I took the TM R1 9 deg out and hit alternate shots with that and the TS3 from the same tee. They both had the same apex height according to the tee shot data display.

Cheers for that. Didn't think of doing that with the Bertha Alpha. By eye I noticed a clear difference in height with the TS3.

Just missed out on buying the TM R1 Black when you could purchase it at lvl 95. I was a few thousand points off lvl 95 before it was taken down.

How does the TS3 compare to the TM R1 for distance?

Landing the green on some of the par 4s into a head wind, carrying creeks, carrying traps...etc

The Bertha Alpha is touch and go for various holes, whereas the TS3 gives me confidence to take the shot.

For me meter speed conformity across all clubs apart from the flat stick is important.

Agree totally, if the 291 driver was 3.5 meter, wuda bought it. More important than distance (which might be 10 yards or so more), consistency tends to win. I could care less most times if I have to hit 10 yards more, however I am guessing the R1- 287 yd (8 degree) driver can't typically be beat by much into the wind.

Waiting on a set of irons to match my driver and fairway wood,as much as I like and am familiar with my Nikes.

Had the top model MacDaddy wedges been released with 100, 80 and 60 yrd distances I would be using them as well. The 60 yrd Clevo is a weapon!

I got it just because I have extra credits. It doesn’t change a bit in my game, but it’s a new toy, and I want it. By getting it, it makes the game a little fresh again. Game does gets boring at times.
