when i go to putt you see the marbles rolling and think ok i'd have to move the triangle pointer over this way.. but i realize after playing that you better check the reverse angle because it might of said the marbles were rolling but on the reverse view they weren't. sometimes they seem to stop rolling when there's a line that stops. If you just go with that normal view and move your pointer it probably wont work as good as the reverse view. anybody else notice that?

I, as well as many others that I know only putt in reverse view.

Checking the chip grid is fairly common as well.

My reasoning is that the view from the behind the player rarely if ever lines up with the putting line.  Therefore if the angle is slightly different, some of what the beads are showing is the uphill or downhill of the putt.  When you look from behind the hole it is dead on lined up, so the beads are always perpendicular to the putting line.

If that makes sense haha :)

ah-ha.. so yeah there is something fishy with the default view. no wonder i'm screwing up a lot of putts.

There is also an issue as in this example

Default view - break is from right to left

Reverse view - break is from right to left also (whereas the reverse view should be showing left to right as it is the Reverse view).

If this is the case, always trust the reverse view.

I have had a few of these lately and going with the reverse view break has holed me the putt.

WGT, has this bug been logged? (Have only been playing congressional lately, and there are definitely a couple of holes with this issue)
