Week 2 was not as close for first place .. but a tie for 2nd highlighted the action.   Transgressional was a bit behind but is showing signs of life.

Nice job to Bollox (59) and MRenn (60) for leading the way for Deviations. and to Jbooch (60) and Stuffix (60) from Electra and JimBean (60) for shooting great on a tough layout.  Also to JimGriff from Deviations for leading the TM's with a great score of 61.

This week --- Kiawah .... Good Luck to All

All scores are now verified .... Totals for week 2 and both weeks combined are below.

Great job Ivietra of doing the work and putting this together. It has been a lot of fun thus far and really encourages club mebership participation.

Our forums at Elite have been buzzing about it, and it feels like a rydercup as all my teammates are cheering for me, just as much as Im cheering for them.

    Thank you for your efforts!

    Dianne

Well Paul .. I was at work on a boring conf call .. and for the clubs with less than 50 members it's not to hard to check .. :)

Just make sure you send me the official one.  Catch you soon.

We're doing the same Diane .. Club Participation .. that's what it's all about ... Cheers everyone.

Thanks for keeping us all up to date Lou. Having a great time participating, even though our club is off to quite the slow start :)

This is beginning to resemble what used to make Links great. There was fierce competition between a lot of strong clubs there on several different tours. That isn't that far off here, either. ICQ made it easy, too. Maybe there's a place for that here.  :-)

What's this Jim? (I don't know Links.) A site-provided way of collating CC performance in a tournie? Comparing CCs? Would love it. Could have comps at any level of CC.

At the moment, we Norman Webbs (gatecrashers) feel a little like the swimmer in lane 8, heat 6 at the Olympics LOL. I notice Lou's 64 couldn't make the Devs cut but would have topped our list LOLie. But it's a great learning curve and we're setting our own goals (as well as scoring a few :)

Already this week much more interest in Kiawa than the dreaded Oak :)

    Week 3 update.

By perusing the leader board as I occasionally do ... I can see that weekend play will make a huge difference in the standings for week 3.

Electra is on fire ... I have them about a dozen points ahead of Elite and Deviations ... who are in a dead heat for 2nd.   But ... from what I can tell only 3 points separate all the other teams right down the line.   Transgressional, Carolina, Eng Lakes, and Italian CC are all within 3 strokes of each other right up the line .with YBR bringing up the rear .. so expect everyone to move during the Friday, Saturday and Sunday period.

Get your players to play .. this is by no means the final scores ... Some of it is my projections based on who I know.

    Good Luck to everyone.
