in the pro shop, there are two ping tour w wedges that have the exact same description (spin, precision, speed, trajectory, etc) they both are rated for a distance of 85 yards. one is a level 42 and the other is level 60.  i have been playing with the level 60 but would it perfrom the same as the level 42?

    thx for your assistance,

    qbal

One is a 60 degree and the other is a 58 degree.  Although the characteristics are the same, the 60 degree is likely to stop quicker as it will have more loft.

    Hi qbal,

I originally had the level 42 which i found to be a pretty good club, fairly accurate, ok spin etc. Swapped that for the high end 80yd Cleveland (sold that back after a month, its so very inconsistent its untrue) and then picked up the level 60 Ping tour w. The level 60 is, in my opinion, somewhere between the two. Really accurate, better from the rough than the level 42, good distance, and spins very well, more than the level 42 although not as much as the unpredictable Cleveland.

    Hope this helps, Ade

Solid review, Ade. In all fairness to the CG, I find it to be very consistent, you just have to ding it. It's the price you pay for the accuracy although the way it misses still is fairly consistent.
