    Villun:
Wondering why the "awards" on St. Andrews aren't working - or registering.

You have to post the round by making the final putt in a ranked round.

Thanks Jim -- unless you are talking about some "new" procedure for finishing the game -- I have been playing (and been awarded) 100's of times since October of 2009...  This ONLY has to do with new awards available on St. Andrews.

Hey guys... WGTNiv has posted (somewhere) that the awards weren't 'turned on' for the back of St. Andies when it was released.... (Triumph, etc)..  and will be rectified with the next update.

So, patience is in order.  Apparently the next update is going to be a doozy and the folks at WGT are running around like headless chickens trying to dot all the T's and cross all their 'eyes'!    =^)

    Peace

    cactusman:

I can't get all 18 holes of golf on the free course when I invite a friend.  Can you tell me why?

I'm not sure what's going on , but I just bought a set of 3 pro golf balls a couple days ago with my credits. A little while ago I hit a ball out of bounds and lost it...now I haven't got any golf balls left. What happened to the other 2? I almost feel like I got riped off somehow. This shouldn't happen like this when a ball goes out of bounds. I can see if it went into the water...but it didn't, it just went off the course to one side and I lost it. This game is getting expensive if I got to buy new golf balls every time one goes out of bounds and not getting the other 2 that i should have left. Can I have my other 2 balls back ?????

Balls have a durability. I would think that your other two wore out and were replaced.

Unfortunately the game cannot distinguish between really nasty out of bounds and just over the line so it always takes your ball.

    Just one of those things.

    Happy hitting

Wore out ?? How does a golf ball get wore out ? I've played real golf for 14 years and never heard of a ball getting wore out. I can't believe I just spent over 100 or more credits on golf balls that I have to spend again because the last ones got wore out. I think this should be changed the next time the site needs maintenance. People playing this game wants to have fun..not get poor from using all their credits...on golf balls that get wore out.  I really wish you guys could help us out with that, this game can be the best online game going, but alot of us can't afford to buy more credits or use our credit cards to get clubs and balls.

The tour GI-s balls that you originally bought have only one dot of durability. The new ones you have are one and a half dot so they will last quite a bit longer.

Decide what you want out of a ball and then pick the cheapest one. Also different coloured balls are different prices so keep a sharp eye.

Hello fellow WGT players!  I have been playing here for just over 2 months and must confess....I am addicted!  I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and maybe make some new friends.  My real name is John and I live in Indiana but right next to Louisville, KY.  I like long walks on the beach, soft candlelit....oops.  Sorry wrong type of forum for that information!  To this point I have not had any matches with other people or groups and I am not really sure how that works, but if you're interested look me up.  The idea of joining a country club seemed like a good idea to me, but after almost three weeks of trying to join one I have all but given up on the idea.  I know I am a cheap, penny pinching weasel from Indiana that would tee it up in the fairway if you were not looking, but I would have thought that someone would have replied and at least told me no.  However, no such luck.  Not a single reply to several requests for memberships.  Oh well, I guess my ex wife has more friends than I thought!

I really do enjoy this site and I am spending WAY too much time on it!!  Again, hello to all and good golfing!

    John
