33 pages...wow, this is an old one.... where did WGTAlex go?  Don't here from him/her anymore.

It would take me a year to read 33 pages...lol, but to get help about anything on this game....write a post in the HELP section in the Forums and others might be able to help ya out (maybe)

WGT helps out alot if they can, All the other golfers on this sight who have been around for awhile can also help out.

    Cheers

I have a question.  I have a country club (Texas Roundup) and I have had interest in possibly setting up country club vs other country club matches or tournaments.  I think it would be alot of fun, challenging and promote comradery within country clubs and also stimulate interest in country clubs.  I am not sure if it would be feasible but would like some input to entertain this idea.  Thanks inadvance for any inputs.

There is still an issue with folks quitting the game early because they a'int worth a damn. Getting knocked off line is one thing, quitting in he middle of the game for lack of skill is another. All wimps, toddlers, wusses, and otherwise undesireables play withg yourselves. Or, go play with yourselves!!!

So WGTalex-----is there a way to STAY at a level or do you have to go up? I know strange question--but can't afford the equipment to keep going up and play at a harder level. Just curious.

Mr Max if you know alot about computers, downloading and you help me with my problems downloading Chrome iron...i'll buy you some clubs...how about that!

If you think you could help me send a friend invite....i'll get to play again on IRON and you'll get some clubs...this offer is extended to any computer minded Newbie who needs a little help purchasing clubs.

    thanks,but not a "techie"  :-(

What happened?????? I had a 62.90 stroke average played in a ready go at BPB shot 1 under and my average went all the way up to 68.0...WGT needs to fix this...I worked too hard to get my average down to 62 and in a blink of the eye it balloons to 68. Also why can't you do something about the meter problems??? WGT wants my money but won't fix whats wrong.

The meter isn't a programming problem, The problem arises because streaming data off the internet during the game, your CPU is multi-tasking dozens of other programs and applications in the background.

You need to shut down ALL unnecessary and non-essential services (like themes, application layer gateway, secondary logon, etc.), applications (such as Virus scanning and security programs that redirect the streaming data to scan it before execution), Adobe Air, Adobe Reader, Quicktime, Realplayer, java updater, and any other TSR, and  running  programs that distract hijack CPU time.

It also helps to disable the add on programs integrated into Internet Explorer (specifically your toolbars, BHO's, embedded Search Providers and Download Accellerators or multimedia feeds you might use).

Basically, you have to limit how much you ask of your CPU while playing.

.Finally, I find it helpful to open task manager because it allows you a graphical interface on the taskbar (near the clock) that I use to monitor when the CPU is extremely active. I wait until it becomes 'less busy' to start my swing, pausing briefly at the top of the stroke and double checking the idle state before releasing.
