  Wgt has proven that they cannot provide an absolute equal playing field. Consequently, I will not invest or play for $$$. However, I'll play w/what I have,,,play socially,,,and with all tiers of golfers. I enjoy meeting new golfer,,,so often I'll play w/new HACKERS with the intention of helping them out w/their game... Its not a win/lose thing for me... Yet, again WGT shows its inequalities simply by how bad my game becomes,,,once I play w/a player of lower quality... automatic WGT handicapping,,,so again $$$ means nothing.

  i find the site getting more and more ridiculous. eg, a chip shot with a 19mph head wind and you choose the appropriate club for the distance and it goes 20yards past the hole. a drive with 15mph tail wind and it goes 160 yards. a drive that should easily clear a fairway bunker goes in at 150 yards. a 3 wood that is meant to go approx 195 yards into a head wind and it goes 230yards. what am i doing wrong?

  Nothing it's the Site.  The so called Web Master hasn't a clue. The meters, both wind and distance, are a joke. The W.G.T. does nothing to try and improve all they want is the money. Cast in point, hole # 1. St. Andrews. I hit a drive that went  within 66 yards of the pin. I then hit the appropriate club and the ball directly  wen in the water, not once, but twice. I had just bought new balls and trust me it happens all the time. The ball went about 15 yards to the water a 75 yard wedge  it also happened to a friend of mine and he lost 1 ball.

  What you are doing wrong is thinking that this is anything like serious golf... it''s a virtual golf GAME set up to make money for its creator(s). So NOT expect it to do much more than casually entertain you and relieve some occasional boredom. It's something like having sex... when it's good it's good, when it's not... you get the idea???   Lol!!!!
