It was 65.5 for me but a couple of my friends said they hit master at 65 even.

I don't suppose this game has a driving range. It sure would be good to practice driving with new drivers that some people isn't used to...like me...lol. Be nice to see that in one of the changes sometime soon. Nice touch adding those vapor balls...I'm lovin them...very cool to see them fly thru the air.

I've not seen the vapour balls but will definitely keep eye out for them!  Just reached Pro at 75 (?) not sure why the difference but hey got another $100 to play with.

    Cheers all

Loving the game, it rocks! Still brand new and with the very basic clubs and balls have got my HACK down to around 115, can anyone give me decent guidance on how to find tournaments that I realisticaly can compete in? Every tournmaent I view seems to be getting won by scores of 60ish, whereas I am shooting high 80's and low 90's? Is there a classifiaction for tournaments allowing people to compete within a handicap band? ie. HACK 100 - 150 for example, or 150-200?

    Thanks

    Hi KokomoJoe,

Unfortunately there isn't a way to change your username.

Nudger:  There are 4 divisions of competition right now.  Hack, Amateur, Pro & Master tiers.  Your average score over your best 10 of your last 14 holes (plus a few other elements) determines which tier you compete in.  As you play more games and your average comes down you will be promoted into more competitive tiers.

    Great,

So if I enter a tournament and end up the leading Amateur I will receive a reward (credits)? Or if I enter a tournament will I only be competing against fellow Amateurs?

Thanks for your help, I'm absolutely loving the game! Soooo adictive!

That is correct.  In most events you will only play against players who were also in the Amateur tier when they entered the event.  There are a few tournaments (Ready-Gos, the premium weekly multiround, the Open Qualifiers) where the format is tierless.   In a tierless event everyone competes against every one else, but each player plays from his own tees.

Every so often there will be instances where some players who enter a tiered tournament as an Amateur will receive a promotion to the next tier during the competition.  They will be listed as Pro on their profile, but since they entered the tourney as an Amateur they remain competing in that tier for the duration of the event.  In cases like this the newly turned Pro will be able to finish out the tournament as an Amateur, but will only be allowed to use non-pro level clubs.
