Just starting putting on these greens and having a hard time with it. Can someone explaine if they're fast or slow greens? How do you read these greens? Seems eveything uphill I put to much on it, and downhill ends up short.

    hi

they are faster and break more, especially on downhill lies because you have to hit slower.

Lets say you have a 10ft putt & the putt is level (no up or down) hit the ball 8.5ft - 9ft you should be right.

For up hill putts if it is 1up add an extra foot to your putt & 1 down take 1 foot of.

Figure your uphill or downhill, then reduce power by 20%..that will get you pretty close. Putts under 5ft just use normal power.

i hit putts 75% on tournament greens.  8' flat putt, hit it 6'.  add or subtract 1' for every 1" up or down slope.  works for me.

short uphill putts on tourny greens, you need to hit 100% of distance up to 10 ft or so, the 77-80% percent rule works well past that 10 ft mark on uphillers, downhill subract a foot of distance for every inch of down hill elevation and start backing off 75% in increments of 2-3% for each inch downhill.
