  I've just sent my own email to WGT asking for a confirm/deny to either kill or substantiate this information.  I'll let you know.

  In such situations, Nivlac, a politician's response is usually, "I can neither confirm nor deny it at this point."

  I'm betting that if they're willing to tell one person that they might be willing to tell everyone.

  We have not come out publicly and said when St Andrews would be released so it has not been pushed back.  We did send an email to one player who asked if he could run a tournament on St Andrews in the beginning of December and we told him it would not likely be ready by then.  We still do not have an exact date for the St Andrews release at this time.

   

  The best way to keep track of what is being released is on the Upcoming Features list in the forums.

  WGT:

  We did send an email to one player who asked if he could run a tournament on St Andrews in the beginning of December and we told him it would not likely be ready by then.

  And they did send a different email to a female player here, I think HigherThanYall, where they said that St. Andrews might possibly be released as a Christmas present.

  So, everything is still very much in the open, just as it was before this rumour started circulating.

  I guess all we can do is sit back and wait...I can't wait for the 100 ft. plus putts on a fast St. Andrews green! Haha

  Hmm, they sent you an e-mail back pretty quick, huh, niv ... that's weird, considering I sent one e-mail two weeks ago, another one last week, and yet another one just yesterday, and I haven't received a reply to any one of them. Do they just pick and choose which e-mails to respond to? I wrote to members@worldgolftour.com and got nothing ... a little disturbing ...

  I must say that the rumour to which Faterson referred earlier of multiplayer choosing courses option was confirmed by WGT, by Alex in particular: when I asked her, thinking about Ryder Cup issues and how I would have to organise things, she said no, they were not planning on releasing that feature.

  On that occasion, I imagine WGT were trying to keep it as a surprise, which is something they do fairly often with big updates, and it may just be what they are doing now.

  Yeah, I thought of that too. I mean, Christmas is Christmas! Here's hoping they do this to us one more time before 2009 is over.
