As far as the "Road Block" goes you can now turn it off just before attempting your putt by using the "Z" key...
Not only that, but you can see the dots moving through it.

Make sure that you are dragging the PC EA app into your apps folder on your Mac and are not trying to launch it directly from the download?

Yes the Z key...But mine did nothing also..... So I changed it to the X key in the game settings and that worked fine...
