I have very few complaints about the WGT format; however, it would be extremely nice if you had the ability in the Pro Shop to trade in old clubs that you have purchased and have those credits applied to the purchase of new clubs.

I have purchase different clubs through out my membership that were available to me at the level that I was at that later became outdated due to new equipment being added to the pro shop or my ascention to a higher tier level.  Similar to when you purchase golf clubs in real life, the ability to trade in to trade up often makes it far more convenient and feasible.

My suggestion is that you receive a percentage back of the club you are trading in's value.  I'm not asking for a full refund, just 25%-50% of what I paid being applied to the new club I'm purchasing.  This might entice lower level players to send the money to upgrade and increase the level of play of all players as better equipment is made available.

    It already exists :)

Step 1:  Be sure to unequip anything you wish to sell first.

Step 2:  Go to your profile and click on the EQUIPMENT tab.  From there you'll see the button to SELL EQUIPMENT.

Step 3:  Profit  (well, not really, but you get the idea)

Can I sell the equipment I no longer use back to the Pro Shop?

Yes, you can sell back equipment that you no longer use to the World Golf Tour Pro Shop.

How do I sell back equipment?

To sell back any equipment you do not want to keep click on the EQUIPMENT tab from your Profile page on the website. From there you will see a button titled SELL EQUIPMENT. Click that button to begin the process of selecting which items to sell.

How many credits can I get for my unused equipment?

The credits you can receive for selling each piece of equipment will be displayed under the SELL FOR column.

How do I know what I can sell?

Equipment that you can sell to the Pro Shop will be listed on the page and will have a checkbox for you to click if you want to sell the item. If a club is currently in your bag the word "Equipped" will be displayed. You cannot sell back a club that is in your bag. You will need to remove the club from your bag before you will be allowed to sell the item. The total value you will receive for the equipment you have selected will be listed in the TOTAL VALUE box at the bottom of the page.

When will I receive the credits for selling equipment?

You will receive your credits immediately after confirming the items you wish to sell.

Are there any items I cannot sell back to the Pro Shop?

Yes, you cannot sell back the WGT Starter clubs that were given to you when you first joined WGT. Also, you cannot sell back golf balls, whether they have been used or not.
