Just a quick question to anyone that might know the answer, does the new Titleist ball have less shots available to it?

Played a 9-hole CTTH, and 3 9-hole Club Comp's today and went through a ball and a half, they seem to wear out rather quickly, my round scores weren't the greatest but a 31, 32, and 33 doesn't quite warrant that much use?

Just asking, any clean reply's will be greatly appreciated

    Thanks,

    Topper

Durability is 2.5 same as mine. 96 hits are a little less than 1 ball. They usually say 120 hits a ball

    So that’s 12.7604167 credits a shot?

I don’t think it’s a good idea thinking about the cost of this ball while playing, if you’re paying real dollars. I think most players use this ball have some credits to spare, quite pricey.

Unless i'm reading this wrong, you have only had approx. 63 hits for a ball and a half, which is just over a third of the figure quoted by others of 120 x 1.5 = 180.

    I see 31+32+33+9 = 105 shots for 3 stroke play and 1 CTTH.

I'm deducting approx. 42 putts, (which i believe don't count for ball usage) for his 3 stroke play games,, hence 63.
