This has most probably been reported at some other time, by someone else.  So just reiterating - nothing wrong with my internet connection. I was able to come into forums and post this message.  Can do everything else, even can see my friend's activities, go to my profile, and country club, just not able to log on to actually play.

I don't want to don my tin foil hat again.  Answers anyone?

Have you tried going straight to the game client without going to the WGT home page? I have my browser start up page set to the game client page. As soon as I load my browser it opens to the game client page. Doing it that way makes it much easier to play. You can go straight to the game client page by typing http://www.wgt.com/gameclient.aspx into your browser address bar. Hope this helps you.

I see this message all the time sometimes multiple times during a round. I chalk it up as being my internet service. I recently switched to a WIFI service as everything runs on wifi even my TV. No more coaxial cable in my house. All Fibre optics which I am told is the fastest available. My problem is the supplier put the modem in the basement at the opposite end of the house from  where I use my laptop and tv so the signal is not as strong as it should be. Wifi is suspect sometimes they told me when I complained to them and the slap in the face to me is they want me pay them $100 to come and move my modem to a better spot. No thanks I said. I will change providers first before I pay them $100 to fix their mistake.

Although this is a idea that I never thought of its not right I should have to pay to fix the screw up. I pay almost $200 a month for their services and I will not pay to fix their mistakes. I can switch providers for free.

Thanks for the response,  I have tried and just get  --

When I log on through a "conversation" link I get this :

which would suggest, one would think, that I have logged onto the server, however, when you click "play now" you get the same message above.   Siigh... not sure of the fix now, it was working fine until yesterday.  Thing is, I am not the only one with this problem, someone else is experiencing the same.  We are both in the southern hemisphere, different countries, not sure if that is the link.  Anyone else got a suggestion?

Edit:  I logged into WGT via explorer. played fine, no load issues, meter was a bit crappy but was able to play.  Still not able to log in via Chrome...

Excuse me in advance if this problem only pertains to me and not others.

Some background first.  I used Slimjet to play and have it go directly to the game client, and have no problems with flash that way.

My default browser is Firefox.   I had not updated Firefox nor flash.  I could get onto wgt.com and the flash area worked just fine, then a few days ago I either had to do 1 of 2 things.  Either I had to reactivate flash on every page or leave it alone to go to the forums.(I don't use Firefox to play)My left side is now all grey

I think what you are experiencing is how websites are starting to treat flash.  Chrome did this awhile back, now it appears that wgt is blocking flash to some extent(or making it harder to use)

Wgt is developing the new PC version, patterned after the Mobile version,  It may be a way to force us to it.

They keep saying something about until the end of 2020 to get the new version correct.  I have seen many game sites that are doing different things concerning flash.

I know of 1 site that isn't planning to still have flash games on it past March 2020

Then your choice is to stand on principle or pay the $25 and be done with it. I'd pay the $25 AFTER I determined I couldn't so anything about moving that modem (which sounds like a no-brainer.)  ;-)

    Hi Rach !

    Happy New Year 🍺
Sorry I can't really help with your original problem, although I had something similar a while back. That was a wireless connection issue (a weak signal).

Keep the faith, I rarely play now without my shiny headwear. I'm guessing it's hot down there though (I hope you're safe), so with the unhappy baked head incident in mind at Cabo, I'll soon be launching my new Spring Collection of sports and leisure wear.

I'll be sure to keep you informed 😁

    Cheers!

    *btw How's your horse ?
