  Superlative demonstration of how to conquer Oakmont from Greg.  Not a great deal I could do other than admire the skills on show.  Holed out twice for eagles from the fairway on Par 4's and hardly a missed putt!

  DER (SEL thunderchickens) vs Frenchconnect (trans bandits) It was a privilege to play in this match against one of the best WGT players around. I got off to a flyer with some close wedges and irons on the first 7 holes and managed to get 3 up. Jon was always going to come charging back and he took 8 and 9 in fine style. I got back to 2 up on the 10th and then Jon started firing darts with a beauty on13 to get back to 1 down and then more to follow on 14 and 15. I holed a crucial breaking putt on 15 to stay in the lead. On 16 Jon got an unlucky meter.I holed another tester to go 2 up 2 to play. Even then like the fighter he is Jon wasn't done yet. He nailed a driver on to the green on 17 and was unlucky in may ways that the ball didn't roll right up to the pin. His putt just slid by and I was lucky enough to close out a 2 & 1 win. Thanks for the game. hope to play again in the future..well played and hard luck. Rob

  Very solid play by Remi. Excellent win. My putter was frozen today, nothing you can do when 4 footers don't go in 3 times.

  Great match against David.  We both played very well, and AS thru 17.  Snuggled 1 up for birdie on 18.
