  Chris and i had our match yesterday. Always a great pleasure to play against a friend and a real gentleman. This one was no exception to the rule eventhough was a pressure match at least from my side. I managed to get away with a 2 up. Thank you so much for the game Chris!!

  Well said Yian my friend, You were far the better player Last Night no doubt and it was just as well both our games were off color other wise you would have buried me, So cheers for that at least bro haha

  After 21 holes and lots of birds BBoyce ( Sammich ) prevails over Loiger ( Transgressional Raiders ) in SD.  Great match Harry and hats off to you and your team in this World Cup.

  Cosa Nostra (BigKnight) v SPL Boobs & Babes (MarkBertsch1)

  We had a great match, turning with me just 1up.

  Had it to 3up on 14. In a MUST MAKE moment, Mark chipped in for birdie on 16 to extend the match. 

  We halved 17 with birdies and the win for Cosa Nostra

  Very good game Mark, enjoyed meeting you and the round :)

  Plate Qtr Finals - Match 3

  Congrats to Tom & the crew from Fairway Fanatics B side, for a great win in the Qtr Final round against the Aussies....

  This is the 1st time that we have played against all 3 teams that have been entered from the same CC throughout our 3 yrs in this comp & we have had a ball.....

  Everyone from the AAA's enjoyed the Fairway Fanatics company out on the course & had a heap of fun during our matches regardless of their results...All have had nothing but praise for the sportsmanship of your teams, especially with getting our matches organised...... 

  Well played to all teams & we wish the B side all the best, as they go head to head with the Indian Red Chiefs in the semi's.....

  To Finny, Dotty, Nigel (The spreadsheet King), the sponsors & all who are helping out in the background....

  A massive THANK YOU, GOLF CLAP & ELBOW BUMP, for all of your time & efforts that you put in each year, in running such a smooth World Cup....It's a time of the year that the Aussies look forwards to getting together for a Northern Hemisphere run & we all appreciate the competition immensely.....

  Good luck to all who have qualified for the Semi Finals in both the Cup & Silver Plate....

  We're looking forwards to watching some quality matches!

  thx wazza glad you lot enjoyed it again.

  played m,y match last night against gordon(farfoo) trans bandits and it was probably one of the best games i have played in apart from the result lol.

  i went 1 down in extra time.

  Gordon got early and i was 3 down by the 7th , was 7 or 8 under and cruising.got the 8th back then put one stone dead on the 9th,turned the corner 1 down,took the 10th and 11th for a suprising lead but Gordon got it back on the 12th.we both had chances with putts especially the 15th where we both shaved the hole.

  we both holed tricky putts for birdies on the 18th for extra time.

  i have been practising that first hole a few times in all winds but none tailwind and both times they were tailwinds,i overshot by 5 yds and missed the putt coming back and Gordon popped his in to take the game.

  im gutted i lost but it was a hell of a game and the twitchers enjoyed it thats the main thing we all had a great time.

  its what this world cup is all about.
