An up n down game from both of us, we both left a few out there
#1, both missed eagle putts, birds apiece
#2 couple of birds
#3 bird by me to go 1 up
#4 got the better of both of us, Par each
#5 Eagles went abegging from the back of the green, 2 birds
#6 2 birds
#7, Headwind so no eagle chance (putt) bar a holeout & guess what we didn't hole out, i birdied, Bob parred
#8 There was an incident ( .. & accident) !!

#10 Good par by bob & another incident/accident!!, I on the other hand, i went only 6.5 ft long right, said in my head I'll baby this/lag it to the hole, well that was my intention, didn't turn out that way, i'd a longer putt coming back up the hill when i missed my slippy birdie putt, then i'd a feeling i might have left that Lying Dots par putt, YUP, Bogey for me :(
#11 Unluckily for bob he went long into the rough off the tee on this Par 3 7 didn't get up n down to save Par, i parred
#12 We weren't feeling greedy so we decided to spurn our eagle putts so we took our birds & ran
#13, TW so well we both bounced through green into the rough, i got up n down to save birdie, Bob's Flop really grabbed so he found himself a nasty downhill/sidehill slider for burn, just missed, par for Bob
#14 The F'in door rang as i was hittin, can't complain, dinged it, dinged it right into that strip of rough splitting the two fairways, Bob found the short stuff.
Dunno how but somehow i made a rough bird from 22 Ft down 9, in the sidedoor she went, Ty Sally (Sidedoor Sally), Bob just lipped out
#15 a pair of burds apiece
#16 another couple of burds, Bob was unlucky not to eagle, he hit a peach it tight, dunno how it didn't drop
#17 Another Incident/Accident, We'd a tailwind so as i'd a lead i decided to go for the 2nd fairway, "What's the worse that can happen", well the 2nd worse is hitting a drive when a pack of dogs is going through the house, made it over the water but hit the fairway bunker
Again Bob played it smart, found the short stuff.
Bob hit on 1st, i hit out of bunker towards end of 2nd fairway, I'd a sandwedge in but had a finger fart & clicked way early so didn' put it as close as i should have
Bob drained his Eagle putt from 28 Ft & i proceeded to miss my birdie putt high again on that hole (I'll never learn)
#18 The honour was Bob's on the last, the gallery was in raptures looking on & a hush came down as Bob drew back the driver & a peach of a tee shot it was. i couldn't quite match Bob's shot but i got on.
I missed my eagle putt a ball low but Bob slotted home his putt for a VvnE fin.
Great game Bob, well played, was fun.
I just hung on as Bob came with a late rally
