Was stuck in the deep rough ( back 0 bethpage ) , pitching wedge should have reached green . I use the 9 , even on full swing excellent hit , it will not make it . Anyone else come across this , how did you get out ?
Depending upon the distance of the shot, the employment of any club in punch mode will yield an acceptable result. This is true in deep rough, heavy rough, weeds and mulch.

If I find my ball in the deep rough; I use a "punch" shot with full backspin...HBthree

I too use the punch shot to get out of deep rough and mulch. Now if I could fit a bush hog in my bag for those tall weeds on BPB I might have a chance!
Thx for the help , will try that .
In the really tall weeds the only thing that can bring happiness is a really good bag of the same.
ROFLMAO Sweetie
Now thats good advice Sweetie but over consumtion could keep in the weed(s)
Larry
I have the definitive answer when in the tall weeds.
You lie in wait enjoying your "bag of the same" for the beer cart girl.
Then jump up and ravage her "beer cart" then use your texas wedge
to get back on the fairway.

Or just sit there and happily watch the world go by..............
