wgt does not have the right to penalize players for quitting. its not a good thing for players to do , but it is there game on there pc so its no ones buss. but theres. if wgt had a system to take pts away that would be fine. but come on sitting a player out for a few days for quitting is wrong, its soicalisim at its best players have the right to do what they choose with there game. plain & simple..................

very annoying i played 6 games of alternate and  finished 1

Not a bad average. Alternate is a joke, and with all the probs that WGT does not address, this is just another that they will do nothing about. About  a month ago I complained about this, and all of the WGT lawyers came out of the woodwork and went into their defensive stance. I am very happy that now we are beginning to get players who have witnessed that this game is broken, and unless WGT penalizes the quitters of this game, the error that comes up, the slow load, and sometimes the no load, the 4th person taking a long time to get loaded, and I could go on and on. ICON, time for you to reply

I disagree. If their quitting causes the game to end so that the other players cannot finish, which happened twice to me in the last 2 days when we were just 2-3 holes from finishing, makes it our business.

If someone wants to quit and it does not affect anyone else's game, than fine.

As for players averages, if someone quits, why not take the holes played into consideration towards the average? That way, the player can quit if he/she feels that their play is off and doesn't want to make it any worse than they just did, but what the holes they did play are counted.

But until the system is fixed so that quitting does lock the system up for other players in the game, any kind of quitting should be dealt with.

Quitting is a problem in most on line games. It is mainly due to weaknesses in human nature. No on line game I have played has come up with a satisfactory solution. Just accept if someone quits they are showing more about themselves than anything else. It's happened a few time to me and hasn't locked the game. Anyway golf is you against the course, not directly against someone else. Your score doesn't affect the scores of people you are playing with or vice versa.

There needs to be a penalty like in league of legends if you quit a game. Its a time penalty in Legends and i think that idea would work here too. Basically if u quit you will not be able to play for a timed out period and if u keep quitting you will be suspended for a few days.  Works great in League of Legends. Ive only been playing this game a month and more than 1/2 the matches ive played players drop out..don't matter if its stroke play or blitz.

The most common (and the most effective) solution would be to play with people you know are not likely to disco. The quitting was so frustrating to me that I almost quit this game until i was introduced to this site: http://www.wgtls.co.uk

It is a competitive ladder site that has team play as well as many aspects of individual play options. The good part is, the level of play is high and the quitting is almost nonexistent.

Quitting games is just about the worst thing you can do on WGT. I playing with one guy who quit when he hit it in the bunker. What is the point in playing if you know someone will quit? I support the idea of having a disconnection fee, just saying. Congrats to all who finish a game when they're doing terrible. Thanks
