  wgt does not have the right to penalize players for quitting. its not a good thing for players to do , but it is there game on there pc so its no ones buss. but theres. if wgt had a system to take pts away that would be fine. but come on sitting a player out for a few days for quitting is wrong, its soicalisim at its best players have the right to do what they choose with there game. plain & simple..................

  yeah, ok...well then they can go play with themselves! Screw Socialism or whatever you wanna label it...i'd be a tyrant and ban 'em for it...last putt on an 18 hole alt shot and they quit...get real...go play with yourself if that's how ya are.

  Oh, and by the way...when they join a game with someone else playing it is no longer their game...it's a collective game agreed upon by all parties to start and FINISH....done so by clicking ACCEPT. DUHHH.

  I'm happy to see the consensus is on my side of this issue....."Quit being a QUITTER" and be decent enough to be respectful to others...as well as the game of golf!!

  Perhaps if the "quitters" were listed in a specific forum topic by name,..we will be able to weed out the perpetrators The list of names would remain published so players could avoid attempting to join that player!

  Go ahead, you wanna be a quitter??....The other players will not tee it up with you!!!

  I can be staring a triple figure 18 hole round in the face and NEVER quit,.....here nor on a real golf course! I wish people who do quit would assume that they paid $100.00 dollars to play,..and quitting wouls not be so smart!

   

  Again...I suggest that players who are victims...should post the QUITTER's name here in the forum,....thereby allowing me and others to simply NOT join them!

  How many times must we see a post about quitters, damn, everyday. WGT is not going to do anything about it. I read so many posts in so many differant areas  of these forums and nothing gets accomplished.

  Yes they are a bunch of wussies out there who will quit just because they dont want to loose there average.

  I get tired, of a 90 second shot timer, waiting for someone to shoot, hell I can go take a leak and get a beer and the guy still hasnt shot, match play should only 45 seconds screw the 90 second crap after all this is not real golf

   

  other have quit because of connection problems I used U Verse, then switched to DSL which really sucked Now I am on Fios and really really happy.

  But WGT is not going to do anything about it.

  The quitting issue has been around for years.  The alt shot game makes it worse since it locks up 3 others and there is no way to continue.

  I really think that WGT has to put in a penalty clause if they want to do anything about it.  No credits taken away but after quitting 3 games in a 24 hour period, maybe a day off the system would work, the issue with WGT is that more play equals more revenue so it is hard to sell that.  Now in reality there are other reasons, unexpected errors, Internet issues, etc. so what do you do about that.

  Don't expect anything to come out of this in the next few years.
