COUNTRY CLUB CHAT
@ World Golf Tour Development Team
The Country Club Chat feature for Country Clubs in the Desktop Early Access software is by far much better than the Flash country club message feature.
Desktop Early Access Country Club Chat allows the entire membership to send short chat messages to the community, and that is an good feature.
However, may I make an few suggestions:
[01] Do not import any club messages from the Flash version as it is now time to start the transition.
[02] May I suggest an two tabbed interface for country club chat: [Tab One for the Owner] [Tab Two for the Community].
[03] The Owner Tab and The Community Tab both have an maximum of twenty five (25) messages each, all messages Posted after the limit of twenty five (25) messages results in the oldest message being automatically deleted.
[04] The Country Club Owner at any time can selectively "clear" either the Owner Tab and/or the Community Tab of all messages.
[05] This is not an Forum but rather an Chat Board, therefore, there is no need to selectively "delete" messages. ALL messages are "cleared at once" but selectively by Tab. In other words, the Owner can clear the Community Tab messages and keep the Owner Tab messages, or vice versa.
[06] The Country Club Owner MUST have the power to distribute "Permissions" allowing or disallowing the Posting of messages to the Community Tab for: Recruit, Member, Veteran, and Director/s.
[07] No member can ever Post messages to the Owner Tab.....The Owner Tab is strictly for the Owner to Post messages.
[08] No member can ever "clear" the message boards. ONLY the Country Club Owner exists the "Permissions" to "clear" either or both of the message boards. No Recruit, Member, Veteran, and/or Director/s exist this power.
Well Done and God Bless, -Dneirf
