15-20% bunker, 50 yard wedge choked a bit, 11mph headwind, full backspin, Callaway Tour i (s) all comes to this...

Backspin out of bunkers has always been this way, but it confuses me a bit how I can get 5 yards backspin out of deeper 1st cut rough, yet no bite at all out of a lighter bunker?

Golf experts, help would be appreciated.

Hi as far as I know, we never had bs from bunkers. The ball loses spin so I always play for run. Ideally it's 5-10 yards depending on sand/wind/club. -wgticon

Happens in real life (not to me LOL) doesn't it? Checks up on 2nd bounce? What's the rationale for not having it (but with its own set of algorithms?)

Oh I know it does but I also seen tiger hit 8i over 180 and back spin it. I am not sure of the rationale but it's an interesting question.

    !!

a case of WGT being more realistic than the actual thing :)

One of my strongest points of regular golf is putting back spin from the bunker. Sure dont understand why we dont have with WGT.
