sand wedges

  can anybody tell me the best wedge to get out of the sand, i have the begginers sand wedge and a decent clevland but there are no sand wedges in the pro shop appart from the begginers so not sure if a 60 degree wdge would do the job ok,   anybody help?  thanks.

  Lvl 31? Cleveland 64 Wedge will get you out nicely.

  Tip is same as for any club... Practice!

  Hit into sand on practice rounds and just try different shots at full power with full back spin taking notes as you go. Once you know how far that goes then try 95% FBS etc.

  Your clubs will get you out, Ulysis, you just haven't learned how yet. There are different shots for different lies and GoldCard is right-you need to practice them. Pick a trap and jump into it. Try a flop, pitch, punch or a partial full shot. They all work (notice I didn't say chip.) When you hit out turn around and hit back into it and go again. You have 10 shots a hole so you should get 3-4 good sand practice shots per hole before you get moved on. Figure out what works for you and then go looking for a club, if you need it. GL
