I posted this in product suggestions, but will post it here too as it pertains.
I think it's long past time to eliminate the staggered tee boxes in any head to head competition. To me, that is the genesis of many of the problems with sand-bagging/dual-accounts. I think whenever players are playing against each other directly, whether in an open RG, an open tourney, or an MPC, all competitors should hit from the same tees.
To be honest, I think it patently absurd that players that can use the same equipment as the higher tiers get a distance advantage when playing against them.
If a Pro is playing other Pros, sure... let them hit from closer. When they are playing higher tiers, though, they should either hit from the higher players tees, or let the higher player hit from theirs. With no limits whatsoever that would give the higher tiered player any kind of advantage at all, there is no reason for the distance variances. Unless and until WGT either limits the equipment or the levels for tiers, the tiers should not matter at all when competing head-to-head.
I am also speaking strictly of when there are credit prizes involved. In alt shot, practice, etc... don't care. But if they are playing for 'money', they should be playing under the same conditions.
