Extend the chat

  WGT Team-

  Would it be possible to extend the chat in a multi game after the final shot? Perhaps the option to end the round after the ty's,gg's, etc., to allow for posting plan, future matches, trash talk,  whatever. PM isn't always an option and leaving messages/wall posts wouldn't be necessary for trivial stuff. TY

  This.

  Many of us can simply type feverishly to say 'good game', 'nice match', etc.  Would be nice to keep the chat open, either for a fixed extended period of time (1-2 minutes) or until someone leaves.

  Hey Jim, I know it's not quite what you wanted, but there is always IRC. 

  If you're playing with someone from IRC you'll have plenty of time to chat with them after the match.  I saw you stopped by the other day, you should come relax with us some time in the early evening.

  You're usually in the Ladder chat and we could also use a few fresh faces around the channel, so come join us, you too price.  =)

  I recommend the mIRC download, but you can use the Mibbit or Java chat to get started.  I can also help you setup mIRC so that it deposits you on the channel immediately upon opening the program.  If you're interested, just let me know, we'd love to have ya.

  I have that link bookmarked, Niv, but can't figure out what it takes to get recognized there. Am I supposed to do something to get that +sign next to my name, like IM the moderator or something?

  Nice idea here YJ. All too many times, been in the middle of typing, when someone drops a chip or long putt. Never got the chance to properly 'close" the match with some kudos.

  I have posted a similiar suggestion before and got almost no comments. We need a way to chat in REAL TIME outside of actually playing a game.

  I'd really like to be able to contact people in my friends list and arrange a game with them. Instead of inviting them, just to get turned down because they are in the middle of a game already.

  I have gotten a few of my friends list to use Yahoo messenger for this reason but allot of people don't want another program to mess with.

  Think about it WGT.....the more fun people can have here, the longer they will stick around.
