    Two things

    1) Raking 60% of the prize pool seems quite excessive.  Players pay a total of 25,000 credits in entry fees (it has reached the cap of 250 players every week for as long as I can remember), and WGT only pays out 10,000 credits.

    2) Why limit it to 250 players in the first place, might as well allow more people to enter if they so choose (you can rake an ever higher % that way!).

Wow, never stopped and looked at entry fees vs. payout, must be manpower intensive to run  that tourney;)

Everything has a flipside though Bollox. The current legend premium open only has 24 completed rounds (I'm sure there's a number of WD's on top of that figure). 24 x 500 totals 12000 credits. Doesn't create much of an impact on the 50000 credit prize fund for the competition. All about give and take....

I do agree though with not limiting the competition; if players want to enter, I don't see why they shouldn't get the opportunity to do so just because their late to the party.

I'd guess the # of WD's is at least 2-3x the amount that post a score.  I know once I'm at a point where a top 3 finish is impossible it becomes a waste of callaways to continue.

And the month isn't over!  I had forgotten to play it, thanks for the reminder :)
