I know for a fact that 2 players can play a match one being on "Flash" and one being on "PCEA" I know this because I have done it!  And I have tested the ability to invite the opponent from either side so in short a FLASH'r can invite a PCEA'r and vice versa ...It works without a hitch...

So here's my question...Can a "Flash" player somehow block or not allow  someone on PCEA from playing their scheduled match?? I witnessed this tonight was very odd to say the least !! Because the PCEA player and I play often and I only play on Flash? So after many failed "attempts"... The PCEA player (very frustrated) had to log on to the very unfamiliar "Flash" game then the match was played...(PCEA player losing of course lol)....Immediately I invited the PCEA guy to a match (Me being on flash of course) to see if there was a problem with game... and there was absolutely NO issue we played.... as a matter of fact  he has not had any problems playing anyone else but this 1 opponent and they "Tried" to get this match in for 2 nights....Before the PCEA guy had to give in ...

So in closing I believe In this case... the Flash player some how figured out how to NOT allow his opponent  to play said match via the PCEA version?? How he was able to do this is baffling to me ..It was obvious he did not want his opponent to use what he was more comfortable with in order to take advantage and get  the win...(Keep in mind the PCEA player came from mobile originally and had little to no experience on Flash) ....

BUT AGAIN I ASK....HOW IN THE HECK WAS HE ABLE TO BLOCK OR NOT ALLOW PCEA

If you honestly think I deliberately blocked Willie from using PCEA whatever that means, you are off your head JD

My integrity should not be questioned here.

JD I watched the Twitch recording from last night where the two opponents could not get the match to properly begin. There were attempts by both players to invite the other into the match. The match did begin where both players were on the tee but the game loading was in a perpetual spin, and neither player was able to actually properly load the game.
I do not believe that either player did anything wrong or malicious to cause it. I think it was just a WGT connection issue.

I watched tonight’s Twitch feed of this match game but the feed began with both opponents on the 1st tee. Was there an attempt again tonight to try to initiate the match as PCEA vs. Flash before going to Flash vs. Flash?

    Hello all

Here is a list of a few new rules for this year’s World Cup,  have a good look and post them on your forum for all players taking part to see,

You can email me with any questions you might want to ask and if anyone is unsure about any of the rules in place,

firstly this year's World Cup will be old pc version only,no crossover games please

    Tier concession

Any legend level 97 and over or  under a 62 average will receive no shots/strokes off TCHS/CHS/TLS and be classed as a L+

These are just guidelines and the organizers reserve the right to determine eligibility on a case by case basis

All other concessions will remain the same.

We have decided to allow up to 13 players in each squad this year but all players must be involved in the group matches at some point.

I never mentioned any names....I'm sorry but it seems quite odd that the PCEA player only had issues with just "ONE' player  with playing the cross platform ?Not only one night but multiple nights and multiple attempts ...

I may have been a little hot under the collar so I retract my statement and  I  no longer question anyone's  integrity ...Please accept my apologies ....It must be one very strange "GLITCH" between these 2 particular players...

And While watching the match I would note the player I was questioning came off as nothing but a gentleman ....

My comments we're mine alone and do not represent the PCEA player...

    Again I apologize...

    TdotDoba:
firstly this year's World Cup will be old pc version only,no crossover games please

I do recall asking Finny in the very beginning when signing up for the Cup if "Mobile" players can play (keep in mind This was our first year in The Cup so I was referring to actual Mobile players) Finn then told me that this event was PC only....I then asked what about the fact that WGT was "WORKING" on a way cross-platform will now be allowed? (If everyone remembers the original posting for the World Cup was just "before" the release of PCEA or around the same time) So his response was "We will have to look into that not sure yet" ...

I never heard or brought it up again  and  the "No cross over games" may have been added to the rules later so I apologize for missing that...( although if it works between the 2 players and no WGT issues.....not sure why that rule is needed?) IMO... JD
