Overview
Hustle players! Are there any players out there like me who are making a habit of getting beat in the first or second round of JC's famous Hustle Tournament?
Then we have to wait a painful 6 weeks to get our fix and donate our hard earned credits again in the next Hustle.
Well match play junkies, there is now no need to wait so long to have another bash and redeem yourself and your reputation.
In all seriousness there are some damn fine players who get a few bad breaks and lose their first and second round matches on a knife edge.
So it's not really a 'losers' bracket, it's another quality match play tournament with top players to have another go at trying to reach and win a MP final.
Here's how it works...
The matches are a reduced challenge of 1,000 credits, after all we are losers :)
Just like the regular Hustle tournament, the rules are very similar.
This is a knockout format WGT challenge matchplay tournament. It will be a ladder format with each match being 1000 credits.
Rules
The contest is only open to first and second round losers of each JC's Hustle Tournament.
It's a first come, first serve basis, with the first 16 to sign up will be placed into the tournament (4 potential matches).
Matchings will be randomized by website challenge. If a matchup does not complete their match within the allotted time, then their game is forfeited and I will assign a bye at my discretion.
Winners will post an image of their scorecard as usual and I will manage and post brackets.
Format
18 hole matchplay challenge for 1000 credits unless between the two players they decide they want a 9 hole match. Remember these are matchplay challenges, please set up the invite as such.
Because JC already takes the course votes, the courses will be the same as the regular Hustle tournament (but only Rounds 1 to 4).
I hope you are encouraged to enter this new tournament if things don't work out for you in the regular Hustle Tournament.
This starts now, based on the losers from Hustle 7, and the tournament is therefore going to be called 'Hustle 7 Losers Bracket'. Hopefully the tournament will become a regular event and shadow each Hustle tournament.
