New irons help please.

  I am level 52 Master and thinking of replacing my level 15 Taylormade Burner 2.0 graphites with a set from below. Other than another 3yrds why would I want the lvl53 set?

  One bonus (i think) is the inherent ability to hit out of bad lies better.  Now I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I know any upgraded clubs normally make better contact than like starters, so I imagine the same applies as you go up the ladder farther.

  That being said, I don't think I would upgrade to those.

  This.  Wait for level 59 and get the High loft Pings. Elevation is everything as you progress and you're going to need the loft to score better.

  I used the level 37 Tour Burners and I found them very unforgiving.  I just got the level 59 Pings and like them much better.

  At the rate I play lvl59 is like 2 moths away....just hoping for something I can buy now.

  Oh, there is, though. Look at the level 48 2010 Rapture set. It has more accuracy and forgiveness and if you notice, there is 1 dot less spin. There's a reason for this. Both sets have Med/High trajectory but they aren't the same. The TM's have more spin because they actually fly lower and need better brakes to stop. The Pings, also the makers of the level 59 High loft clubs, tend to fly higher. It will get you ready for when you get to level 59 because it changes the way you play. You have a bit softer landing with them and being more accurate they should help you a lot.  GL

  Jim didn't mention what may be the biggest advantage of the Raptures. They have one of the slowest meter speeds of any on the better clubs. Many players on here progressed through the game using the Raptures. From what I understand 2 of the best players, Priestess and Iconian/AKA WGTicon on here used the Raptures for a very long time.

  I looked at what he had and just gave him same speed options. I would have loved to talk him into the faster meter because he's going to need it eventually. He has better options with that out of the way but Priestess and Iconian are pretty strong statements about those clubs.  :-)

  I have noticed from playing people who use the level 48 Raptures, that they seem to fly pretty high.
