For those who don't know, WGT from time to time (randomly) changes the speed of the greens. Not by much. I estimate between +0,5 or -0,5. Since the speed of the putt is the most crucial factor to sink the ball, that change, makes aiming points useless. So, just a tip. Whenever all of a sudden your putts are going long or short (and you are 100% certain that you hit the correct number), try to adjust the factor. Instead of playing 13 for 13 speed, play 13,5 or 12,5 according to balls's behavior. As you can understand, changing the speed factor to the putt in order for our ball to reach the cup and not being short or long, makes a difference to the aiming point as well.
Adjustement is the holly grail word to play well wgt.
Same thing happens with the winds. You see an 11 oclock wind and after your stroke you find out it was 10 or a bit less than 10. That changes almost everything on your calculations and naturally on the outcome. Winds are a bit of a guess, but putt speed is adjustable not 100% but close enough.
