Seve .... the point I was really not liking was the idea that you can lose more than your wager because there will also be a fee deducted on top of the wager.

I think a $1 minimum / $20 maximum is reasonable enough. Wagering a quarter (25c) is a small amount if you think about it. I think this feature makes gives me the best reason yet to buy credits.

jeff, it is standard practice to separate out the fee from your wager into separate columns. At least in my poker games!

So thought I'd pop in to check out the updates, and here are my initial thoughts on the Matchplay challenge:

    1.  Kind of the cart before the horse, no?  I mean, don't you think you need a stable game before you start introducing "gambling", and yes I know WGT stated that it is not, but I assure you, it is.

    2.  If you are searching for a Matchplay challenge, why give the option of playing for no money credits... that's not what I searched for...  I mean, as soon as someone sees me (or my average) they immediately go into a normal matchplay.  I'm not one to be rude, so I'll play it but it's not what I set out to do!

Again these are just my initial impressions.

Thanks for you comments.  Your second point is very insightful and we will look into this.

You cannot lose more than you bet Slor.  If you bet 100 and lose, you will lose 90 for the match and 10 for the fee for a total of 100.

Also, is there a way to prevent people who have less than 100 credits from using this mode of play?  I had to kick out 3 or 4 people because they were dumbfounded that I wanted to place a wager on the match.

(I think I just asked the same thing Avatar did, hrm)

if Niv and Alee will incorporate their match challenges, i'd like to buy shares in their IPO's.

Of course it is gambling, that is why it is prohibited in the listed areas.  Each of those places has defined "gambling' to mean ".. risking any money, credit, deposit or other thing of value for gain contingent in whole or in part upon lot...". (definition of gambling, state statute).
