UNABLE TO JOIN TOURNAMENTS...Why?

  I'm puzzled.

  I'm a member of a Country Club and get emails all the time of new tournaments through the club.

  However, every time I go to join, it says I am not eligible.

  I don't get it. Why not?

  Reading the requirements, it says that those in my state (Arkansas) are not eligible.

  Why are some states excluded from playing an online golf tournament?

  Could someone enlighten me as to why players from Arkansas cannot pay in these tournaments?

  State law prohibits playing a FREE online Golf Tournament?

   

  Are you sure about that?

   

  There has to be something else to this. Why the heck would any state government care if we play online Golf, especially for free?
