Question about swing edge level 8 cap upgrade

  I have a driver with 277 base distance. With a level 7 swing Edge cap the distance increases to 292. I just hit level 8 which cost 30k coins to upgrade and the driver distance has not increased. The cap was graded at around 54 when at level 7 and is now at +62. For 30,000 coins I expected to gain some extra yards. Does anyone know why this is occurring. Thanks

  Apparel is only in effect during Coin games and Clash games. (not in CC or reg tournaments). So my first guess would be: have you tried playing a Coin game to see?
