PCEA Community Update August 2020

  Hi everyone,
  
  We've somehow made the turn to the back half of August already, which means it's time for another Champion post about what is going on in WGT.
  
  First, some news.
  
  The WGT Live Series: August Championship is coming up on August 29. The event will be streaming live on our Twitch and YouTube channels to determine the 2020 Season Champion. Will Young46 be able to hold on to the #1 spot in the world? 
  
  Next, other stuff.

  I want to highlight some things that we're working on bringing to the game when ready:

  • New Daily Free Coins system
  • Creating an option to speed up the dots on the greens on putts to match Flash. This would be a game settings option for long-term players to have an experience closer to what they were used to.
  • Option to Enable/Disable Apparel Bonuses in multiplayer game setup
  • Rollout of classic WGT apparel from the Flash game. (Players who already own these outfits in Flash will receive them automatically for free.)
  • Improving the aim marker on putts so it's no longer in the way when using the reverse camera

  
  
  This is only a partial list of what we're currently working on or planning to work on soon, in addition to other content updates like new game modes, courses, and all the things you enjoy in WGT.

  Excellent news. thanks for the update. Nice to know you are receptive to player feed back on the game and working towards the improvements mentioned.

  Excellent news n looking forward.

  Having said that, please have an update regarding free screen size including better ding line for the highest resolution. So far it is jumpy n hard to ding it. By the way, resolution is looking fantastic but so far grief with the thin ding line. I know this issue been raised several times, but iam just emphasizing again n again.

  The only adaptable 4:3 ratio ain't compatible with couple of laptops as well. Thus making it hard for people to have a go at Launcher.
