I cant find the rule for time outs. Does anyone know what the rule is?

If you play with 7 time outs, do you get assessed a stroke on the second time out you use?

or do you get assessed a stroke after the 6th time out you use and DQ on the 7th.

I think it's a stroke for each timeout Gary. Not 100% sure, though.

Quit countin' them dots and timing out!!! LOL

The only way it makes sense is

2 time out        1st time out 1 stroke penalty      2nd DQ

5 time outs      on the 4th time out  1 stroke penalty      the 5th DQ

7 time outs      on the 6th time out 1 stroke penalty       the 7th DQ

In MP or AS, the 1st timeout = no penalty.  Every timeout after that = 1 stroke penalty.

In stroke play, there are no stroke penalties for timeouts.
