How do you go about getting the new set of clubs? I see posts with people talking about how you need to use pro clubs on certain holes but the only way i've seen that allows you to get these clubs is by inviting friends. However, the friend invite isn't active yet so how are these users getting the pro clubs?

In the demo version of WGT, there were Pro clubs available to play. For the Beta, we are still working on adding additional club sets and the method for unlocking them. For now, only the basic set is available.

well i hope it happens soon as on the old beta it was so much nicer playing with the good clubs.
the speed which the power bar moved at was much more natural feeling than waiting for this slow bar to get to 0 then.....bugger
As far as ideas for how to unlock better clubs what about either basing it on awards received or on your score average. The idea being that the better you get the better clubs you can access.
I can deal with the kaka clubs. It just takes adjustment is all but I don't like the distances provided for the kaka clubs.
