App sign-up, won't let me use my current name [SOLVED]

  Says "You already have a WGT account for that Email Address."

  What to do? Obviously I want to keep my current level and tier. 

  EDIT: It's quite possible that months ago I signed up for it, didn't like it compared to current desktop version, and deleted it. If that's the case then I don't know what to do. 

  EDIT: See my post below, I think solved it

  You don't need to sign up. You already have a WGT account. Just sign in with your WGT name and password. If you did manage to sign up and make a second account you could get banned.

  If he does E-mail C/S hopefully they will explain to him that it is just 1 game and he doesn't need to sign up.

  As Borntobesting wrote above,

  DO NOT use the "NEW PLAYER" button as this would be creating a NEW Account. This is for people who have never played WGT golf. If you played on Flash you are not a new player. You use your existing account across all platforms (Flash/PCEA/Mobile)

  Just use the "Sign In" button with your current Username and Password.

  I have always used the abbreviated version , Scott , so can’t give an idea of timescale , sorry

  SOLVED 

  The "Get The App" button on my profile page didn't work as I wrote above. So I did a google search for World Golf Tour App. I do not have a smartphone so I didn't download if it said it was for that purpose, like Google Play.

  I found one and installed the app and when I opened it on my desktop, it showed my name nyctc7, rank, and tier. 

  Now I just have to learn the new format.
