Moved up to Champion

  So, i wasn't trying to move up, but over the past few months, my putting has really taken off, and it kind of just happened.  

  What i have noticed in the last week or so is a huge increase in lipouts (ball catching the edge, rolling a quarter around the cup and out) and full cup spin outs.  

  Which brings me to my question.  Why?  I'm lining up the putts the same, I'm using the same theory to calculate power, but now those putts are no longer falling.  

  Knowing what  I know now, I don't think there's any way I would ever let myself advance past Legend tier.  You almost have zero margin for error, even if you miss the ding by a pubic hair, the shots are going 5 yards off line.

  not sure, i don't really play the weekly WGT tournaments, so I assume they will move to 14.5 greens.  

   

  i'm just seeing that putting, even on 7.9 greens is is extremely fickle.  I can line it up, hit it to where I'm on upper edge, and it's about 50/50 that it falls now, where as last week at TL, that exact same putt would fall.

  I might be bonkers, but I can't help feeling that the game gets harder. It's almost like it is less tolerant of your mistakes as you progress up the tiers.

  this difficult thing is not only is it like putting into a hole the size of a shot glass, the aiming points changed as well.

  You hit a great putt, lined up to the top edge, and the edge almost acts like a ramp vs falling into the hole.  It's crazy how precise you have to be.

  If you want to see what is happening. Go to coin rooms and play in Chelsea or another really low coin room. Watch what happens when hacks and amateurs putt then get back to me.

  Not sure what you mean other than a ball length outside the hole falls for them.
